Theta Tea Factory was constructed between 1979 and 1980 and later commissioned in 1981. The factory is located in Kiambu County, Gatundu South, Kiganjo Division, Mundoro Location. It is slightly North of Nairobi, along Kenyatta Road, 61kilometres from Nairobi town and 22 kilometers from Gatundu. It is in the home district of the Nation’s First President and founding father, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.
